I’m a Ghanaian-American that doesn't speak the language, but loves the food. I know, it's very upsetting. I’m from Northern Virginia, but my father was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa while my mother was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. With that, my life has been pretty split as far as cultural practices and mindsets, which has truly molded the human I am today.
Who Am I?
Let’s Break down who I am..
I AM..

Growing up there was me and my younger brother Edward. We’re three years apart, but with my parents work schedules, in some ways I did become his second mom. Being his “mom”, best friend, and world’s best hype woman has truly shifted the way in which I walk through life and navigate all the relationships I encounter along the way.

In some ways I feel as if I’ve been on this earth in a past life. I’ve always been connected to people much older than I am and feel I have a very intuitive spirit. Some people around me believe I’m a bit psychic, but I think I’m just very observant. Or maybe I am psychic..

Disney Channel IS my childhood. This was the one network that my brother and I could agree upon watching. The stars that came from this network in the early 2000’s truly played a HUGE role in my life. I mean come on, they gave us “That’s So Raven”, “ The Cheetah Girls” franchise, “ Hannah Montana”, and SO MUCH MORE! If you ever want a thoughtful debate on the ranking of Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM) or Disney channel shows, PLEASE talk to me! I’m very passionate about that lol. (Lemonade Mouth is the best movie overall, but we could certainly break the DCOM rankings into sections)

I love food. I really really REALLY love food. Growing up food was a BIG part of how we showed love. All you do in african culture is eat food and dance. So those are two big attributes of my life. My mom also took it upon herself to introduce my brother and I to new foods and restaurants every chance she could. So in some aspects it became a bonding activity for my mom, brother, and I.

As much as I love the artistry behind television, I am a sucker for a good reality TV sesh. There’s something so satisfying to me about looking into the drama without being a part of it. What can I say, I live for the drama. My favorite reality show by far is: The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Season 6 was the best season. I said what I said.

The queen, the legend, the phenomenon. Beyonce has my heart and soul. That’s that on that.
